Balanced Training at Mountain Dog Spa
We use tools and techniques to help improve the communication and relationship between pet dogs and their families. The use of an authentic German Herm Sprenger Prong collar is required for training at Mountain Dog Spa, because we use positive reinforcement combined with pressure-on-pressure-off theory to teach dogs new skills and manners.
We offer the following training services:
One-Week Puppy Board and Train for Basic Obedience (only for dogs under six months old)
One-week Board and Train introduces puppies to obedience commands and good manners, setting them off on the right path. Includes daily training and socialization, a bath, a go-home lesson, and a follow up lesson.
Two-Week Board and Train for Behavior Modification
Two-week Board and Train pups will learn basic skills, such as Sit, Down, Place, Leash Walk, and Good Manners. Program includes daily training sessions, socialization, public visits, a bath, a mid-way lesson, a go-home lesson, and a follow up lesson.
Three Week Board and Train for Behavior Modification
Three week Board and Trains focus on achieving an accountable, reliable recall with an e-collar: a dog that always comes back when you call. In addition, the program includes teaching all the obedience commands, like Sit, Down, Place, Leash Walk and manners. This program also includes a bath, a mid-way lesson, a go-home lesson and a follow up lesson.
