Location
Our state of the art dog campus spans 3.5 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Your dog can get pampered in our Spa, be boarded short and long-term in our immaculate kennel, learn and exercise at our Academy and Fitness Center, run free at our Adventure Center, and walk one of several hiking trails.
What is The Place Command?
When people see our Mountain Dogs practicing The Place Command, they often ask the same question: “Can my dog do that?”
The answer is “Yes!”
The dogs you see here are part of our structured daycare program. We incorporate learning activities and practice drills into the structured play day. The Place Command is the most highly requested part of our program.
It looks like a magic trick to see so many dogs in one room together calmly laying in Place. But it’s not magic; it is hard work. These dogs are focusing, resisting distractions and practicing good manners.
